Foreign Students' Cell:

The University has a full-fledged Foreign Students’ Cell headed by Dean Academic Affairs. He is the Chief Advisor, Foreign Students’ Cell. The Cell acts as the nodal agency and assist the International Students’ Community, in acquiring information about the registration, courses, tuition fee structure, eligibility, visa requirements, accommodation, health insurance and their overall welfare through a unique ‘single window system’. For this, a dedicated portal is already in place for foreign students. There are 15 per cent supernumerary seats for foreign candidates in each University Teaching Department (Except the programme run under the norms of AICTE/PCI). Many students from Uganda, Kenya, Rwanda, Zimbabwe, Nigeria, Congo, South Korea and Bhutan have already shaped their academic future from this University. Apart from offering a multi-cultural and inter-disciplinary learning environment, one of the main reasons for studying in Maharshi Dayanand University Rohtak is the manageable cost of living and a favorable environment for education.

Every year, Foreign Student’s Cell organizes sports activities exclusively for International Students. During 2018, two days sports meet was organized by Foreign Students’ Cell. International students from B.R.Ambedkar University, Agra, Utter Pardesh, P.D.M University, Bahadhurgarh, Haryana and Maharshi Dayanand University Rohtak participated in sports activities like foot ball, Table Tennis and Badminton. During the month of March, International Students of M.D.University Rohtak also participated in cultural festival organized by Ashoka University, Sonipat.
